This is a club for promoting and playing the sport of Jugger in Dublin, Ireland. Inspired by the 1989 film Salute of the Jugger, the sport is often described as resembling rugby with weapons. Two teams of five start on opposite ends of the pitch. One player from each team, known as the runner, may pick up and handle the ball.
